30 Day Return Policy

What is returnable? Procedure of Return Duration of Return Conditions of Return

Luxeffect.com assures fine quality, design and price. We believe that our diamonds and timeless jewelry would meet rather exceed your expectations. However, if you are not completely satisfied, you can exchange or return the product. We are pleased to offer a 30-day return policy on all purchases from TBR International, Vogati and MySolitaire, except Make an Offer and Customized products.*

Applies On
The 30 Day Return Policy applies on products sold by MySolitaire.com and TBR International only. Other vendor items sold on MySolitaire.com do not offer 30 Day Return Policy.

What is returnable?
All Loose Diamonds, Loose Gemstones, Rings from the Design Your Own Ring section and Jewelry are returnable.

EXCEPTIONS

  • Polishing Cloth
  • Polishing Liquid
  • Any Jewelry that has been engraved for the customer
  • Any items purchased through ‘Make an Offer’
  • Resizing of the rings is not considered as Return but exchange.
  • Any Customized item or custom made for the customer.Customized products are the ones specially made on request of the customer.
  • Items sold by brands other than TBR International, Vogati and MySolitaire may or may have a return policy. Therefore for complete and correct return information please review the vendor/brand policy of the item you are interested in.

Duration of Return

The period of 30 Days begin from the day the item is shipped to the customer and not the day when we receive the order.

Procedure of Return

To return or exchange an item, simply:

1. Call for Authorization Number- Call LuxEffect customer service at (866-697-6548) and Obtain a return authorization number. This number authorizes the customer to apply for return and is mandatory to continue the procedure.

2. Inform the Customer Service via E-Mail- It is advisable that the customer also informs our Customer Service at customerservice@mysolitaire.com with the authorization number.

3. Fill the Return Form- Fill the Return Form completely, provided with the original packing materials.

4. Packing- Securely pack your item(s) along with the original packing materials along with –

i.LuxEffect Return Form
ii.Packing Slip
iii.The Diamond Certificate if provided with the product.

Use a plainly wrapped cardboard box to pack your jewelry (the post office has these available if you do not).

5. Dispatching Mail – It is advised to please insure the package for the full amount of the invoice plus shipping charges. Also request a return receipt to ensure the shipment is tracked.*

You can send by any method. However here is some helpful advice-

  • Send the package by FedEx, if the value of the items ‘being returned’ is less than $500. 

  • If the item ‘being returned’ is more than $500 Priority Registered Mail is the safest way to ship high-value items. FedEx and UPS will not insure goods over $500.

For returns of over $500 from outside the US, please contact a 3rd party insurance to arrange the insurance cover.

6. Our Address- Clearly print your name and address on the outside of the package in the return area.

Please be careful: You should NOT write LuxEffect, jewelry, diamonds or other luxury-related words anywhere on the package, as this invites possible theft of the package.

7. Inform the Customer Service via E-Mail- Please inform our Customer Service after dispatching the item.
Send your e-mail at customerservice@mysolitaire.com with the authorization number.

8. We request our customers to please log a reason for the return to help us check the cause and server our customers better.

Condition of Return

Returns are simple, but are subject to certain rules:

1. Packages without the Return Authorization Number will not be accepted for refund.

2. The item MUST be received at LuxEffect WITHIN THE SPECIFIED DAYS from the date of shipment of the order from LuxEffect. Any items received after the specified days from the shipment date will not be accepted for refund.

3. Each item must be returned in the same condition as it was sent, unworn and undamaged. Damaged goods due to client negligence will not be accepted for refund.

4.  If the item is a diamond, the original gemological laboratory certificate that was issued with the diamond needs to be returned as well. This is very important. The diamond certificate has a $200 replacement fee. If the certificate is not returned, the cost of replacing it will be charged.

5. If the item is a gift, it is important that the authorization number be written on the LuxEffect address label. As with any purchase, the gift recipient may exchange the item.

6. We do not charge anything as Returns fee however -only on Make an Offer we charge 35% restocking fee on the offer price.

7. It usually takes 5-10 business days to process the refund.

 

Additional Notes
1. In any case, if the Ring you got from LuxEffect does not fit your size, please send it back to us within 30 days from the invoice date.  We will resize it approximately within 10-14 business days, and this service is absolutely free of charge* (*However, the customer has to absorb all the shipping charges except the resizing as a result of LuxEffect’s error).  As some of the designs' resizing may damage the rings, please contact 1-866-MYSOLITAIRE for resizing confirmation.

2. All products bought through Make an Offer cannot be refunded unless there is an error on behalf of LuxEffect

3. Custom or special orders, personalized and engraved items cannot be refunded unless there is an error on behalf of LuxEffect

4. LuxEffect will refund the full cost of the item EXCLUDING shipping, handling and insurance charges. LuxEffect will refund shipping and handling costs only if the return is a result of LuxEffect's error. Refunds will be made in the same form as the original purchase.

5. If an item is returned due to error in shipping address entered by the customer, an additional $29.95 will be charged. If the package shipping address has to be changed after shipping then LuxEffect will charge an extra $19.95 for the shipment. Any orders not accepted by the customer upon delivery will be charged $19.95 for the return shipping costs.
Return Process Time
All requests will be processed after our laboratory inspects and verifies the condition of the item. Returns take approximately five to seven business days to process upon receipt of the item.

Again, please return every item WITHIN THE SPECIFIED DAYS FOLLOWING THE INVOICE DATE with all of its original materials. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service representatives.
